How can we express queerness in our poetry? In this workshop we will read contemporary queer poems from authors like Billy-Ray Belcourt, Akwaeke Emezi and Kae Tempest. We investigate what part (their) queerness plays in their poetry and we explore their various styles. We try to incorporate their different styles and/or performance elements into our own writing. This workshop is for everyone who wants to explore different queer writers and/or queerness in their own writing. You don’t need to be an experienced writer, you just need to be enthousiastic!
